Heh. My sister has our Ladybird books, not me. (Unlike you, we had ones about naughty kittens called Smoke and Fluff, and I hated them. I didn't like stories about people being bad and getting into trouble. :lol:
Oh, you should finish Armadale! I keep meaning to reread it. It's not as easy as the others, & not as tightly written but it definitely gets better and my slightly vague memory is that all the really good stuff is in the end section of the book, so you're missing out on Fate! and Doom! and Oh, Wait, It's Not Fate! and Doom! and a little mysterious purple flask, and an interesring anti-hero and anti-heroine (which is the best I can come to describing them). Not to mention a ridiculous amount of people having the same name in different ways...
What are you saying about ITV Marple? :lol: Actually, for all the nonsense they've done, ITV's worst crime in that respect was their dramatisation of Cards on the Table for Poirot, which they usually leave a bit more alone. (I mean, they changed the murderer!)
