WIP meme: Seven Lines

Post seven lines from the seventh page of a current WIP.

My first thought was: "I write my fic in a text editor. What are these 'pages' of which you speak?". Anyway, I decided that a page was 24 lines, since that's how many lines you can get in an xterm by default. For the same reason, a line is 80 columns.

(Amusing fact: This being a seven-based meme, it also happens to be the seventh WIP list that I still have a copy of).
