I agree, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way! Clara Prime feels oddly empty. When she went into the time vortex -- well, I knew she was going to do it, because it was the obvious explanation for Victorian!Clara and Dalek!Clara, but I actually wondered why she would choose to do it. I mean, I could see Rose, Martha, Donna, Amy, Rory, or of course River doing it in a shot, but I never got any sense of Clara Prime caring that much about the Doctor. Not that she dislikes him or anything; it's more like he's just someone who drives her around in a space-time machine that she enjoys for the occasional gallivanting. If that makes any sense.
