Fic: Losing Face

A couple of days ago I rashly made the comment that I'd never write Polly/Jamie. Well, this is the result. Technically it still isn't Polly/Jamie, but it looks just like it. Set in, and diverges from, Episode 2 of The Faceless Ones.

Title: Losing Face
Characters/Pairings: Michelle Leuppi/Jamie, Samantha Briggs, Polly
Rating: 12, perhaps? I'm open to suggestions.
Word count: ~2,500

*applause* That worked out very nicely! You write action so well - it's always been such a stumbling block to me I highly admire those who can manage it. Nice work, complete with the dangling 'maybe' at the end. :-)

Thanks. I was quite relieved when I got to the action sequences, as opposed to the bits where Michelle has her wicked way with Jamie (only slightly handicapped by the fact that she doesn't dare take her jumper off!)

Oh, dear, that was very good and also quite disturbing - and I love it when you write anything even vaguely Sam/Jamie, because it's always so much fun.

I think 'disturbing' is quite a fair assessment. It was interesting for me to make Michelle's closer acquaintance as a 'proper' character rather than as a minor running gag in TTR. Not a very nice person, as it turned out.
