She's a bit of a mystery to me. I don't feel, as I do with some of
the other characters I've fanficced, that I can be sure what she'd do in
any given situation.
Vicki/Troilus is canon, of course. Then there's Jamie, as mentioned
above, and Steven/Vicki if only for the portmanteau couple name. She also
fits quite well with Luke Smith, at least to the point of going out
together for a milkshake.
The First Doctor. She's the original blonde teenager in whose company
the Doctor loses all sense of responsibility.
I'm not sure there are unpopular opinions on Vicki.
I don't think she was ever in an adventure along the lines of The War Machines or the UNIT era. That might have been interesting, particularly if the writers remembered she's from several centuries the future and would think all the soldiers very quaint and old-fashioned.
