28 is Storytime! The Engineer's Thumb. (Yes, I put a handful of Storytimes on AO3. I may even have had a reason for it at one point).

1. I'm quite pleased with how Donna comes across.
2. The exchange:

   Yeah, I know a couple of blokes who can help. Just don't ask them for four candles, though. Never hear the last of it. Anyway, I need to take another quick squiz at the seating.

   Abzorbaloff / Colonel Stark:

   I mean inspect it. Get your mind out of the gutter.

3. That after I had the Master watch the Doctor die to the strains of 'Kiss You Off', Doctor Who Confidential chose that very same song for a montage of the Doctor snogging his companions. It's a breakup song!

No. 10, appropriately enough, is Truth Is What We Make It.

1. I'm quite pleased with how the plot worked out; a lot of the canon episodes do something similar, with two problems that seem utterly intractable until Charles and Martin work out how to make them solve each other.
2. It gave me the chance to present the entire political class of this country as outrageous caricatures.
3. Most of Charles's barbed putdowns.

If I'd been a bit quicker to upload my ficlets from lost_spook's comment-ficathon, 10 would have been The Girl Without A Past, which I know you know :-)

Absolute Power is a radio comedy series (which later moved to TV) in which the utterly amoral Charles Prentiss (Stephen Fry) and the lazy, snarky Martin McCabe (John Bird) run a public relations agency.
