"Hello," the man in the pinstriped suit said. "I'm the Doctor. I probably don't look like the one you travelled with, but that's not important. Look, blue box, sonic screwdriver... The TARDIS locked onto your artron signature. You have travelled with me, haven't you?"

"Yes," Rory said.

Amy folded her arms. "What do you want?"

"I was wondering if you had any children who might want to be my companion. Make a change from River," he added, sotto voce. "That woman thinks she knows it all..."

Amy and Rory exchanged glances.

"Shall you tell him," Rory said, "or shall I?"
