Drabble (9/22): Clean Break

To those new friends who've joined through the recent friending meme: Hi! <waves>

If you're wondering what's going on here, I took a list of Doctors and companions, had the computer shuffle it, and now I'm posting one drabble a day for each pairing that resulted. So far they've run the gamut from 'made for each other' to 'Nooooo', so let's see how today's came out:
