It's still Day 22 if you use GMT — that's my excuse, anyway.

22) Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favourite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?: I've participated in a number of fests or other writing challenges, but my favourite to be in was unconventionalcourtship. The prompts not only give you the gamut from straightforward romance to almost-gen adventure to utterly bonkers crack, but ready-made plot outlines. The rules aren't particularly onerous, which reduces the pressure, and there are no worries about being assigned a prompt which can't be written. And then there are all the fake novel covers, too. Writing hasn't flowed particularly easily for me this year, but my three UC fics just came tumbling out.

23) When you post, where do you post to? Just your journal? Just an archive? Your own personal site?: As a rule, I upload to an archive site (Teaspoon and AO3 for Doctor Who fanworks, or just AO3 for everything else). Then I post a link on my personal journal, and/or the relevant community. The exceptions tend to be things like comment-fic, where they languish in their original comments and are never seen again.
