* The joke about Queen Elizabeth losing her nickname was never quite as coarse as a lot of people remember it, because the nickname he says is "Good Queen Bess", not "the Virgin Queen". (That said, it wouldn't surprise me for a moment to learn that the implication was completely intentional.)
* Apart from there suddenly being a lot more innocent civilians, the other thing that struck me about the fall of Gallifrey is that it seemed a bit... conventional? ...for the climactic assault of the Time War. No esoteric weapons, just a lot of Daleks shooting at things. But, you know, I think I'm willing to go with it for the sake of the story.
* The Five-ish Doctors is a lot of fun, and I had no idea about it until your post. Thanks for pointing it out.
