Memed from the_redjay:
If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNaWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current works in progress in your journal.
As usual, I won't say what the works are; feel free to guess.
- We were working to improve society, after all — and the stories that the Patrol was the fastest way to the top made the work that little bit sweeter.
- "That black and orange catsuit wouldn't have done at all."
- "Doesn't sound as if the artist's moral rights count for much where you come from."
- "The moral the general public took from the incident was: Never trust a madgirl, she'll kill you without even a pause for thought."
- "I told your boy that I would hide in the TARDIS, and if he gave me away I would gut him like a tafelshrew. He did not, and so here I am."
- "I was thinking more that you couldn't expect me to attack anyone when I'm wearing a dress that's big enough to have its own postcode."
- "Sir," Benton said, his voice carefully neutral.
- Any architect worth his salt would doubtless have called them 'pastiches', and then had to wash his mouth out for using such a filthy word.
In other news, onlyonebed is open for
prompts until Monday, and I'm sure they'd welcome some more plausible or
implausible Whoniverse bed-sharing scenarios. Not to mention people prepared
to write them...
