1. Describe yourself how you would describe a character you’re introducing.

I sort of did, in a TTR drabble I never posted, where my avatar in the Round took the form of a 'bulky man in a grey overcoat'. But a drabble doesn't really give much space for a full description.

So...

The Doctor bounded across to the nearest workstation. "They're overriding the locking protocols! We need to shut the power down in that section!"
The technician, a heavyset, dark-haired man with a hesitant manner, paged through several screens of menus. "The system wasn't designed to do that. Maybe if I..." He tailed off, paging through screens of schematics. "It'd take at least an hour."
"We haven't got an hour!" Amy protested.
"That's as fast as the system will let me—"
He was cut off as the doors at the far end of the room blew in. Three Daleks glided forward into the room.
"Doc-tor," the lead Dalek declared. "A-my Pond. You will come with us." It looked around the room, with the air of a Dalek that didn't like what it was seeing. "Exterminate superfluous lifeforms," it added.

2. Is there any specific ritual you go through while/before/after your writing?: I think the closest I come is adjusting the height of my chair. I use an office-style chair when sitting at the computer, and the seal on the height adjustment leaks. So if I'm planning to do anything that requires a lot of typing, I need to get the chair back to its proper position.
6. First fic/pairing you wrote for? (If no pairing, describe the plot): No pairing; it was a Doppelganger Crossover which played on a rumour in the Daily Mirror that Sean Bean would play the Ninth Doctor (this was some years before the series actually did return).
