A couple of things

1. Came across an interview where one of the interviewees was Jessica Martin, from before she got cast as Mags. Definitely would have been improved by a werewolf transformation or two.
2. Added a couple of prompts to the UC pairing generator, and got some results that I rather liked:

I don't fancy Vila's chances against a woman who likes blowing up things. He should find a nice bar in Boston instead!

Not just Ace, but Polly and Kathleen too. I wouldn't count on Ace's teenage daughters, though; if they rebelled against their mother, it would be by becoming simpering weaklings with a tendency to swoon at the first sign of trouble.

If Ace's kids father was a very nice man they might have some substance. If the father was a total rotter I'm afraid they are going to be complete saints who get kidnapped three times a week - genetic truth.

Yeah, frankly, I don't believe a word of Vila's story there, either. He was probably just making it all up and in fact he's only there to steal stuff, have a drink and hide under the table when things get bad.
