Small incursion at Coal Hill, not many dead
Watched the first episode of Class. Not sure yet if I'll bother with the second. I can't think of that much else to say about it.
The story to fit this sensational headline has not turned up yet
Woke the other day with a sentence in my head: "Now, now, sir, for all I know the stained glass could have already been there before they broke in." Now all I need is the rest of the fic to go with it.
'Tis love, 'tis love, that makes the world go round
I added a few more prompts to the Unconventional Courtship generator.
This was, literally, the first result it gave me after I'd added prompt 536:
536) A Forbidden Temptation by Anne Mather
An unwanted desire…
With the death of her husband still raw, Regina Mills's mood is dark and dangerous. She’s not looking for a man – until she meets buttonedup but handsome Edward Ferrars, who stirs her senses back to life. Yet Regina cannot act on her feelings because Edward belongs to another!
An impossible affair…
Trapped in a fake relationship to safeguard his family, Edward knows crossing the line with Regina would risk everything he holds dear. Beneath the hunger he sees in Regina’s eyes is the promise of something more… but is it enough for him to surrender to a taste of the forbidden?
Edward's still engaged to Lucy Steele at this point, one presumes.
537) One Night, Two Consequences by Joss Wood
Billionaire’s Baby Surprise!
Beautiful free-spirited Zoë Heriot doesn’t believe in happy-ever-afters. A former child prodigy, she’s finally shaken free of the world’s expectations and is determined to live for the moment – including one scorching, unforgettable night with handsome stranger the Tenth Doctor!
Billionaire wine magnate Ten never expects to see Zoë again – their mind-blowing night together felt like playing with fire, except he wanted to get burned! But six weeks later Zoë returns. She’s pregnant – with twins! And this time he can’t let her go so easily…
I have read Ten/Zoë fic, though not with twins.
538) Cider Brook by Carla Neggers
Unlikely partners bound by circumstance…or by fate?
Being rescued by a good-looking bad-boy firefighter isn't how River Song expected to start her stay in Knights Bridge, Massachusetts. Now she has everyone's attention — especially that of Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart, her rescuer, who wants to know why she was camped out in an abandoned old New England cider mill.
River is a treasure hunter who has returned to Knights Bridge to solve a three-hundred-year-old mystery and salvage her good name. Alistair remembers her well. He's the one who alerted her late mentor to her iffy past and got her fired. But just because he doesn't trust her doesn't mean he can resist her. River is daring, determined, seized by wanderlust — everything that strong, stoic Alistair never knew he wanted. Until now…
Doris wouldn't approve, I know that much.
539) Girl in the Bedouin Tent by Annie West
Not your average damsel in distress!
Sheikh Harriet Smith has vowed to redeem her scandalous family name – so the last thing she needs on a tour of her desert kingdom is to have a sensuous blonde with more spirit than clothes presented for her harem. Fiery Lucie Miller might have been kidnapped by bandits and dolled up as the Sheikh’s love-slave, but she refuses to be any woman’s plaything.
Yet spending a week in Harriet’s desert tent pretending to be her mistress would get under any girl’s skin. Especially when she is under her sheets.
How could this fail to improve Harriet's family reputation?
540) A Mother's Secret by Pat Warren
What was her secret?
Was it her beseeching blue eyes? Her unstoppable spirit? What was it about gutsy yet vulnerable Maria Lucas that lured legendary lawman Tuvok back into tracking a missing person and – worse – taking Maria along?
Maria's devotion to her kidnapped niece soon had the pair hiking deep into the wilderness and facing unknown dangers. While tough, inscrutable Tuvok tried to brave his own recent, heartrending loss, Maria bore the secret that the missing little girl was her illegitimate daughter.
The perilous rescue pushed them to the edge. They shared desperation. They tasted desire. And all their secrets were laid bare. But would love take them past the point of no return?
I somehow don't think they're getting out of this without pon farr raising its tropey head.

And, lol, some of those are definitely a little too apt in places!
