Not quite; 'handsome' does indeed map to 'beautiful' and vice versa. The 'curvaceous' comes from 'tall'.

Ah, it wouldn't have occurred to me to gender translate tall at all. It'd make for some people on stilts on occasion I suppose, but so does the description as applied to men and no more incorrect than some of the blond(e)/red/raven-haired souls about in the summaries.

Looking through the list of prompts, I haven't always made the substitution; usually it's happened where the 'tall' came as part of a variant of the tall-dark-and-handsome combination.
