Author's Notes: I tried to write one of those things for Dodo, and ended up with this.
Summary: The Doctor decides to fix Dodo's untimely demise. But does he have an ulterior motive?

The Doctor paced the console room, his eyes intent and terrifying.

"History says you were murdered in that bedsit!" he ranted. "Well, history can go and take a running jump. You're going to live, Dodo Chaplet. You and your unborn child."

The TARDIS ground to a halt. The Doctor flung the doors open.

"Here we are," he said. "Tisiphone. Human colony. A few centuries in your future. Should have done this last time. Still, practice makes perfect. See you both in twenty years."

Alone on an unfamiliar world, Dodo watched the TARDIS fade away.

Twenty years? she thought, and shuddered.
