a. My favorite thing about that character.
b. My least favorite thing about that character.
c. One person I would ship them with in their own verse.
d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.
e. One crossover universe for them I think would be even neater.
f. Their ship from hell.
g. Their song.
h. The title of their biography or autobiography.
i. The last bad dream they had.
j. How they're gonna shuffle off the mortal coil, if they haven't already.

Date: 2010-03-31 10:47 pm (UTC)a. This.
b. In the episodes I've seen, the way all her adventurousness and resolve go completely out of the window the moment she sees a rat (The Smugglers).
c. What can I say? Polly/Ben cannot be denied.
d. For some reason, I can't get the image of Captain Hastings (as portrayed by Hugh Fraser) out of my mind. She would, of course, wrap him round her little finger.
e. You could put her in The Woman in White, if you wanted the book to be about half the length. I mean, Fosco barely managed to get the better of Marian when she was on her own; with Polly there as well, he'd have no chance.
f. Captain Pike (and no, I don't mean the Star Trek one). Ahar, me hearties.
g. Polly's song would have to be from the 1960s, and I cherish my ignorance of music from that period. *googles* "With A Girl Like You" by the Troggs seems to come from the right year and have suitably Polly/Ben lyrics, but on trying to listen to it I lasted about 15 seconds before hitting the back button.
h. How To Look Your Best When Things Are At Their Worst.
i. Probably one about being trapped in a confined space and unable to move, seeing that she spent most of The Faceless Ones in a crate.
j. Of a heart attack, sitting in her garden. With positively no interference from any Doctors or monsters.

I'm sorry choosing the song was so traumatic for you, but having listened to that song many a time (my sister had a Heartbeat addiction and went through my Dad's collections of 60s singles. I am very well-versed on that era as a result. But then I have very little taste in music, though I did one rebel by borrowing classical music out of the library. My Dad was genuinely worried by this... ) it's a good choice.
I love the idea of Polly/Hastings, because she would, and also it implies that there's a crossover with Two (or One), Ben and Poirot and a murder going on. Actually, I had this idea about One, Ben and Polly in the 1930s... Also much ♥ for Polly in The Woman in White. I'm not sure if she could out-awesome Marian though. Together, it'd all be sorted before Hartright turned up at the graveside, though - you're right. :-) Especially, as to get to the 1860s she'd need a time machine, so Two, Jamie and Ben were probably also around. Fosco would have no chance.
