So in the search for information on abandoned railways in London (for, um, reasons), I happened to wander into a blog that discusses London topics with a focus on transport — no surprises there.

What you wouldn't expect is that I landed there on the same day the writer decided to talk about Sapphire and Steel. He's a fan.

It seems to be a week for that with S&S :D

Not only did I spend a fair amount of time on that website, I actually visited the exhibition this entry refers to. Again pure chance that I had the day free, and a couple of days later the exhibition would have closed and that would have been that.

I remember recently we wondered about the timeline Zoë comes from. I think it's definitely one where schemes like this actually happened.

A nice article and in serendipity to me I smiled at the commenter who asked if it was like Ashes to Ashes/Life on Mars, I was thinking about those shows myself, but not in relation to S&S.

I don't think I've ever thought of comparing or crossing-over the two, either. Not sure how it would work...

It seems to me that if S&S happen to help someone it's only as a byproduct of putting a stop to someone / something else.
