- 10) Pairings – Have you ever gone outside your comfort zone and written a pairing you liked, but found you couldn't write, or a pairing you didn't like, and found you could?

There are some pairings which I've tried to write and never been able to, sometimes because the plot I've thought of requires an explicit sex scene rather than the inevitable fade to black. Or because I can't find the right words for a heart-searing declaration of love; one of my early never-completed Jamie / Victoria fics is missing the crucial scene where he proposes to her, for that very reason.
Pairings I don't like are easier; I've written a number of randomly-generated crack pairings, usually at no more than drabble length. Some of those were of the "can't possibly work" or "pass the brain bleach" variety (such as Two / Ace or One / Ben) and in that case I usually wrote the drabble to make it clear how the pairing wouldn't work.
I don't think I've ever written real, honest-to-goodness 10 / Rose, though.
