9) Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favourite pairings to write?

I'm afraid this question is going to come up with some pretty slim pickings. Of my 180-odd fanfics on AO3, only 39 have any pairing tags at all, and the vast bulk of them are all in Doctor Who.

Doctor Who: The first two are fairly easy: Jamie/Sam and Zoë/Isobel. Third is probably Ace / Jack Harkness (anyone with whom Ace falls in love dies horribly; to Jack, that's a minor inconvenience. In which respect, he resembles Bertilak de Hautdesert, but Bertilak is already married).
Knightmare: The only pairing I've written is Treguard / Majida, so it wins by default.
Sapphire and Steel: The only pairing I've written here is a crossover: Silver / Liz Shaw. (Well, I did once write Sapphire / Steel, but that was a coffee shop AU, so it surely doesn't count).
Sarah Jane Adventures: Clyde / Rani.
Jane Austen: I've only written the canonical pairings from Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion. Of the two, I think the Persuasion once was easier because of being a modern day AU.
Miss Marple: I had a lot of fun writing Martha Jones / Lance Fortescue, simply for the sheer wrongness of it all. That, I think, edges out Inspector Neele / Mary Dove.
